When the RSPCA Queensland (Australia's Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) heard that Bob was available for the first time since before the conception of Beerwah Reptile Park (which would become Australia Zoo), they knew he was the ideal person to help them with a wildlife hospital they had been trying to build at Wacol in Brisbane. Now in partnership, they have established the Bob Irwin Wildlife Fund.
